Disappearing rental postings - Why?

A few people have asked why their rental postings disappear shortly after being posted.

There is a set of rules in the yellow box just above the area where you type your posting. It explains what information should be entered in the Subject of the posting.

In short, the only thing in the Subject should be the Week Number, Year Available and the Room Type. DO NOT INCLUDE THE ROOM NUMBER OR THE WORDS "FOR RENT", EVERYTHING HERE IS FOR RENT.

The only exception should be adding the available dates for partial week rentals.

These rules are intended to make the Search feature more efficient and useful and are to your benefit, making it easier for people to find your rental.

ANY POSTINGS NOT COMPLYING WITH THESE RULES WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT NOTICE.

hi..I had to re post my week...I followed the guide lines as I do every year, and is was taken down...why??

The room number was in the Subject line.

I just edited my week 7 to put the dates in the subject line because it's a partial week and it disappeared. Should I repost?

Use the names of the days instead of numerical dates like "Monday through Wednesday". To many numbers in the subject line confuse the search results.

Why does my post have blue circle around it and a red star inside?

I had listed my unit according to requirements, and had some interest. I recently listed it for rent through CDM. Now my original post is gone. I was told I could still rent privately if I found a renter. Why did my post disappear?
